James Snell is a lifelong native of South Carolina with strong ties to both the upstate and the midlands. Mr. Snell received a B.S. degree with a major in Business Administration with a Computer Science concentration from Limestone College and his Juris Doctrate degree from the University of South Carolina. He is admitted to practice in all South Carolina Courts as well as the United States Tax Court, the United States Court for the District of South Carolina, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Snell is a member of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The American Association for Justice (Criminal Defense Section) and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association. He is a past-president of the Lexington County Bar Association and maintains an additional membership in the Spartanburg County Bar Association. Additionally he serves on the 11th Judicial Circuit Criminal Domestic Violence Task Force, the Board of Building Code Appeals for the Town of Lexington and on the Limestone College Alumni Board of Directors. He regularly appears in all levels of Court throughout South Carolina, representing clients in misdemeanor, felony and federal criminal law matters.
